  * 1 pineapple (should be very ripe), peeled, cored & cut into 1" pieces
  * 1 liter vodka
Special Equipment
  * container for infusing
  * fine mesh strainer or coffee filter
  * 1 liter-sized glass bottle or container for storing
How-to
  1. Skin, core and cut pineapple into 1" pieces
  2. Place pineapple in infusion container (any freezer-safe container) and freeze for at least 3 hours
  3. Remove from freezer and add vodka, making sure the fruit is completely submerged
  4. Cover and store at room temperature for 7 days; there is no need to refrigerate the mixture
  5. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter, and bottle
